Welcome to IPEE’s Web Site

Prof. Emma ValverdeWe sincerely hope you enjoy our web site and that our message to convey our attitude of quality, service and dedication to our students comes through.  For many, this is their first time overseas and everything can be bit overwhelming.  We are always here to see that all goes smoothly and to your ultimate satisfaction, just consider yourself as part of the family.  We are not only the directors of every day business at the school, but owners of IPEE.   This is readily apparent to our students who enjoy the thoroughness, attention to detail and nurturing attitude towards our students, both in and outside the classroom.

To personally discuss IPEE and our programs feel free to contact Emma   by e-mail at: ipeecr@racsa.co.cr .  No questions are too small.

Directors┬á IPEE is located in an up-scale neighborhood five minutes from the University of Costa Rica and fifteen minutes from the heart of San Jos├ę. ┬áWith shopping and many great places to eat nearby, you couldn’t find a better location. The Atlantic or Pacific coasts, tropical rain and cloud forests and volcanos are easily accessible because of our centralized location.

Our web page was designed with all prospective students and their computers in mind. The primary purpose of our site is to inform you about our programs and to be as comprehensive and complete as possible, not to necessarily entertain you with fancy graphics and do-dads. We’ve purposely omitted graphics for the simple reason that it is slow, takes up bandwidth, and accomplishes nothing. If you’ve come to our page, it was for information, and this you will find easily and efficiently using just a menu with hypertext and a little color. Not every browser is capable of viewing jazzy graphics, frames or advanced HTML code, and not everyone has the fastest of modems or Internet connections. To be as efficient as possible, we’ve placed most of our graphics, photos and links to graphical sites, on our “Galleries” page, and placed them on slide-shows and from there you may choose those that you wish to view. Remember to use your “Back” button on your browser whenever possible. Once the “Main Menu” (or any page for that matter) is viewed, it is copied into your browser’s cache, and can be accessed very quickly by using this technique.

“Nuria is an excellent teacher. I have learned a lot with her. She is very patient and has a lot of ability to explain things. She knows how to mix school and fun. I really enjoyed being in her class. I couldn’t expect a better teacher. I have learned a lot of Spanish and also a lot about Costa Rican culture. I enjoyed the School a lot. Everybody is very friendly and the teachers help the students with their Spanish. There is a good environment in the School. I will recommend your school and professors to everybody I know.”
