Excursions and Trips

Total Immersion can also include the spectacular natural diversity of the entire country by taking excursions and trips during the day or entire weekends. Below, we have come up with a “Tour Package”, that includes some of the most popular excursions. We also encourage students to strike out on their own and view the country as an adventurer. No matter if you are an old hand at living in a foreign country or this is your first visit abroad, we are always there and ready to assist you with your choices.

These are only some of the many excursions and tours and things to do. Just let us know what you would like to do, and we will either arrange it for you or offer advice on great things to do. Nuria or Emma, would be more than happy to discuss the tours and excursions, and what would suite you the best, they love to talk about the beauty and wonder of this lovely country. You’re in good hands with them. I think you’re in for an adventure of a lifetime!

If you have any questions about tours, what is included, availability or special requests, please contact me at: ipeecr@racsa.co.cr

“Nuria and Alberto were very friendly and very, very helpful in terms of scheduling excursions and activities. All I had to do was let them know what I wanted to do and they set it up practically right on the spot. Wow, I was impressed. “

Not all week day excursion tours are available all year, as weather permits and seasons change. During our high season (May, June, July and August) there are often scheduled tours to places listed below. Often students can arrange to become part of these scheduled tours. In the low season we arrange for tours with operators we have worked with in the past. For these, we arrange transportation and accommodations, meals and entrance fees or optional activities are arranged for by the students, usually when they arrive at the hotel.

Costa Rica

The prices below are group rates (10 or more students). Prices during the year when we do not have planned scheduled tours prices will often be higher, especially during the high tourist season (December – April). We would be happy to schedule hotel and transportation to destinations when scheduled tours are not available.
