Approximately one week prior to your class start date, you will be sent your host family information, emergency phone numbers and cultural tips to help you get ready for your trip.
You will receive an e-mail verification upon reciept of your application, SO DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS ABOVE!
The Balance Due will be payable at the school when you get there, and that payment should be made out to "IPEE", only. This payment should be in the form of a money order, cashier's check or travellers checks. We can not accept US Postal Money Orders, since they are negotiable only within the US.
REFUND POLICY: $100 OF THE ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. $100 WILL BE REFUNDED IF IPEE RECEIVES A WRITTEN CANCELLATION NOTICE AT 4 WEEKS BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE PROGRAM. THE FULL DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED IF THE SCHOOL CANNOT ACCEPT THE STUDENT AT THE TIME HE OR SHE WANTS TO ATTEND. STUDENTS WHO WITHDRAW FOR ANY REASON DURING THE FIRST 4 WEEKS OF A PROGRAM DO SO AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE. ALL REFUNDS AFTER THE FIRST 4 WEEKS WILL INCUR A 20% CANCELLATION FEE AND WILL BE MADE ONLY IF THE STUDENT NOTIFIES THE SCHOOL IN WRITING AT LEAST 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE CANCELLATION. REFUNDS ARE CALCULATED ON A WEEKLY BASIS. THERE WILL BE NO PARTIAL REFUNDS FOR DAYS OF CLASS OR HOME STAY MISSED, NOR WILL THE STUDENT BE ABLE TO MAKE THEM UP AT A LATER DATE. STUDENTS WHO REQUEST HOME STAYS BUT DECIDE LATER TO MAKE THEIR OWN LODGING ARRANGEMENTS WILL STILL BE CHARGED FOR THE HOME STAYS, UNLESS WRITTEN NOTIFICATION AT LEAST 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE BEGINNING OF THE PROGRAM.REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AT THE SCHOOL ONLY TO THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE ENROLLED DIRECTLY AND MADE THEIR PAYMENTS TO THE SCHOOL. STUDENTS WHO HAVE SIGNED UP THROUGH A DIFFERENT ORGANIZATION MUST REQUEST REFUNDS DIRECTLY FROM THEM. ENROLLMENT: TO ENROLL, PLEASE SEND THE COMPLETED APPLICATION TO "IPEE". THE BALANCE OF YOUR FEE WILL BE MADE AT THE SCHOOL (CASHIERS CHECK OR MONEY ORDER OR TRAVELLERS CHECKS ALSO IN US FUNDS).
I AM SUBMITTING THIS APPLICATION FORM IN ORDER TO BECOME ENROLLED IN IPEE. I HAVE READ AND ACCEPT THE SCHOOLS REFUND POLICY AS DESCRIBED ABOVE, AS WELL AS CONDITIONS PUT FORTH BY ANY AGENCY THROUGH WHICH I HAVE ENROLLED. ANY OF THESE TERMS MAY BE WAIVED BY APPROVAL BY THE DIRECTOR OR AN IPEE ADMINISTRATOR, THIS WAIVER MUST BE IN WRITING.
